Easter is upon us. What's for dinner?

My family and I have a tradition of eating rabbit for Easter.
I have been making "Coniglio Cacciatore" every Easter for 18 years, ever since my eldest son's first Easter.

This was last year's table:
This years Setting:

The usual staple is lamb, but I  prefer our "coney" tradition. Yes, Coney Island means Rabbit Island.

What do you make?

My Easter story:
I was very young and we were going to my grandmother's, dad's mom, house. Before we went into the dining room; he warned me about the capozelle (dad pronounced it capo zeal) . Lambs head . so there it was proudly displayed on teh table no big deal right?
Until I watched my grandmother and other relatives fought over who got the eyes. :-)

  1. My favorite Easter Story is telling my kindergarten teacher that I ate a rabbit for Easter. Then she called my parents and made the horrifying discovery that I wasn't lying :P
